Yesterday we got out of our box-filled, people packed house and went up to Calaveras Big Trees… a wonderful state park that is in danger of being closed due to California’s budget woes. We had an amazing time, and being there- I just couldn’t imagine losing access to this California treasure. Here you see me, my husband and our three children standing inside the base of a fallen giant Sequoia.
